Résumé : |
Because I Was Born as a Military Child follows Alex, a 13-year-old girl born into a military family. After the tragic death of her father, she is sent to a secret military school designed for children of soldiers. There, she meets others with similar backgrounds, all shaped by loss, duty, and discipline.
As Alex adjusts to this harsh new environment, she is driven by a burning desire for revenge. However, she slowly begins to lose focus on her original goal, and starts to question everything: her motives, her memories, and the identity of the real enemy.
The story explores complex emotional and psychological themes like grief, trauma, revenge, guilt, resilience, and identity, all through the eyes of a young girl struggling to make sense of a world shaped by war and sacrifice.
